[HOW TO] ADD Brightness App in Ubuntu

Increasing or Decreasing the brightness in Ubuntu may not be working properly. To change the brightness using the grub update was one of the solution if the function keys don't work for brightness problem.

Now the Desktop app for Ubuntu is available to increase or decrease the brightness in Ubuntu. The applet is available for Ubuntu 11.10, 12.04 LTS, 12.10, 13.04 and others. To install the applet first open the Terminal (Clt+Alt+T) and run the commands given below:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:indicator-brightness/ppa
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install indicator-brightness
 Moreover you can assign the shortcuts for using the brightness.
